From: Customers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana,
New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming will receive shipments from
Visalia, California (unless otherwise requested).
Customers outside of these 13 western states will have items shipped from Bloomington, Indiana.
Ship Via: Generally, we ship orders under 350 lbs. via
Federal Express (FedEx) and orders over 350 lbs by truck.
Some oversize items are over FedEx maximum accepted size and must
be shipped via truck. We always try to select the least expensive
way to ship your order.
Shipping Fees:

For
FedEx shipments, you are charged only the shipping charges billed
to us by FedEx. For FREIGHT COLLECT
shipments, you pay directly to the trucking company. This
is our most common shipping method. When we ship FREIGHT PREPAID,
we pay the freight to trucking company and
bill you on your invoice.
Drop Ship Fee: There is a $10 per address handling fee assigned to all
drop ship orders in addition to the regular shipping charge. Because we are a
volume distributor and not a fulfillment center, we request that you keep drop
ships to a minimum. This will enable us to service you as efficiently and as
quickly as possible.
Freight Damage Policy: DO NOT SIGN THE FREIGHT BILL UNTIL YOU VERIFY THE
TOTAL PIECE COUNT AND CHECK ALL ITEMS FOR DAMAGE.
Regardless of what the driver
tells you, you must write down any missing packages or damaged boxes on the freight
bill. Claims for loss or damage to goods in transit are the responsibility of
the consignee (or receiver) for freight collect shipments. You need to file your
claim with the transportation company immediately. For prepaid freight, you still
need to list loss or damage on the freight bill and fax back to BWGS so that
we can file claims and re-ship the lost or damaged items.
Our shipping staff will do their best to ship your order within a day of receipt
of your purchase order. Time frame may increase to two to three days during our
busy season.
No freight claims on prepaid orders—we process them for you.
Follow the steps below to ensure coverage.
1.Take an accurate piece count when you receive your order. Note any damages or
variances on the delivery receipt before signing.
2. Make sure the driver signs or initials the delivery receipt after you make your notes.
3. If time does not allow you to inspect the shipment immediately, note on the delivery
receipt “pending inspection and piece count” before signing. For your best chance of
receiving full credit, we recommend taking digital photos.

4. If a freight claim must be filed, enter your store’s login information at BWGS.com and
submit (or print and fax) a Shipping Claim Request Form, along with any digital photos you
may have.
5. Fax a copy of the delivery receipt with notes to BWGS within 48 hours of receipt of
order (East 800-316-1264,West 888-316-2310).
6. We will issue your credit within 5 business days of receiving your freight claim.

Concealed Damage:
All freight claims not noted on the delivery receipt OR received after 2
business days are considered concealed damage claims. Fax or e-mail us a detailed description and
any digital photos of the damaged goods.We will credit you in accordance with the credit
received from the freight company.
Freight Collect Shipments:
Claims for loss or damage to goods in transit are the
responsibility of the consignee, and should be made to the freight company immediately. Do not
accept the shipment until you verify the total piece/pallet count and inspect for damages, making
note of all damaged items on the delivery receipt.
